Hawaii Vacation Choices

You can’t beat a vacation package to Hawaii when you’re thinking of relaxing on a beach and having fun. Hawaii is a perfect destination for a lovely and refreshing break to help recharge the batteries.

One of the better things about Hawaii is the temperature is always moderate. Even in the summertime, the trade winds will normally provide a cool breeze and there are numerous beaches and clear blue ocean for a swim. All through the winter, temperatures remain warm enough for surfing and enjoying the water. Actually, in the winter, the waves are often much bigger that provide some of the best times for surfing.

You can devote your entire vacation at just the one particular island that suits you best, or experience the sights and sounds of all six. It’s your choice, and each has its own attractions and natural beauty to suit every taste.

Oahu is one of the most visited islands in Hawaii. Even if it is only to change planes at the Honolulu airport, nearly all vacationers travel to Oahu. In Oahu, there is the modern city of Honolulu, which is also Hawaii’s state capitol. You will also find beautiful Waikiki beach. On the southern shore are Pearl Harbor and the memorial which honors the USS Arizona which was sunk at the beginning of the Second World War.

Kauai is found north of Oahu. Kauai is, geologically, the oldest of all of the Hawaiian Islands. There is much natural beauty to see in the island. You’ll also find a number of choices for charming getaways and outdoor recreation.

Opposite in the island chain from Kauai is Molokai. Roughly half the people of Molokai are of native Hawaii roots. This island continues to be ardently connected to its Hawaii culture.

Next in the island chain is Lanai which doesn’t have stop lights. It is one of the least populated of all of the Hawaiian Islands and it is just the right place for romance and privacy. In addition, you’ll find two wonderful golf courses.

Maui lies in the middle of the migration route of the humpback whale, and a good number of visitors arrive here during winter to watch these whales. The beaches are said to be amongst the best in the world, and are popular with many people who seek a Hawaiian vacation without the razzmatazz of Honolulu.

The Big Island of Hawaii is by far the largest of all the islands in Hawaii. Almost all the planet’s naturally occurring climates are found in Hawaii’s Big Island. In addition to sandy beaches, you will have the opportunity to visit Kilauea, earth’s most active volcano.

If you’re unable to decide upon which island you’d like to visit, then try them all. You can easily book Hawaii cruises starting at Honolulu and then spending 1.5 days on each island. You will spend evenings on your luxury cruise ship, and experience the very best that the Hawaiian archipelago offers.

If you happen to want to sleep on land, you’ll find a wide range of Hawaii condos in the islands. They will range from condominium and vacation homes, villas, bed and breakfast accommodations and cabins.
