I&#039;m fairly sure there are more than 22, if you count all the cinder cones, tuff rings, and craters

At 1) Kilauea:

2) Halemaumau Crater
3) Kilauea Iki Crater
4) Pauahi
5) Mauna Ulu
6) Makaupuhi
7) Napau
8) Puu Oo

Other shield volcanoes on the island of Hawaii:
9) Hualalai
10) Kohala
11) Mauna Loa
12) Mauna Kea

Shield volcanoes on Maui:

13) The dormant East Maui Volcano (They call the summit Haleakala or House of the Sun)
14) The extinct West Maui Volcano

Cinder Cones at Haleakala include:

15) Ka Luu o ka Oo
16) Kamaolii
17) Puu o Maui
18) Puu o Pele
19) Ka Moa o Pele
20) Halalii
21) Puu Naue
22) Puu Nole
23) Puu Maile
24) Olipuu
25) Kaluaiki
26) Puu Kumu

There are many others on three rift zones along the slopes of the East Maui Volcano, but we will skip them for now.

Every volcano listed from here on is extinct.

The peak of the 27) volcano that makes up the island of Kahoolawe is called Puʻu Moaulanui, and the crater is called Lua Makika

The highest point of the 28) volcano that coincides with the island of Lānaʻi i is called Lānaʻihale.

The three shield volcanoes of Molokai include 29) the East Molokai Volcano, the summit of which is called Kamakou. 30) The West Molokai Volcano, also called Maunaloa (one word), the peak of which is said to be the spot where the goddess Laka gave Hula to the Hawaiian people. The Kalaupapa penninsula is made of 31) a single shield volcano. There is a small pond at the bottom of Kauhako crater that is at least 800 feet deep. The peak is called Puu Uao.

The cinder cones of Molokai include 32) Puu Luahine, 33) Puu Uala, also called Kualapuu, and 34) Pohakumauliuli. That last cinder cone is where they filmed the last beach scene in the Pirates of the Caribbean: At World&#039;s End.

The two shield volcanoes of Oahu are 35) Koolau, and 36) Waianae.

Tuff cones/rings of Oahu include

37) Kohelepelepe/Puʻu Mai/Koko Crater

38) Koko Head/Hanauma
39) Leahi/Diamond Head
40) Puowaina/Hill of Sacrifice/Punchbowl/National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific
41) Manana
42) Makalapa, 43)Āliamanu and 44) Āliapa‘akai at Salt Lake

Cinder cones of Oahu include 45) Tantalus.

46) The Kauai volcano, and 47) the Niihau volcano

Plus the volcanoes that created the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands, and more than 80 underwater volcanoes that stretch between Midway and Alaska. These were formed from the same hot spot as Hawaii, and are called the Emperor Seamounts.</description>
